1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using getslimdoc.com, taking our online assessments, communicating through our chat or WhatsApp channels, or scheduling a consultation, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Services and Doctor–Patient Relationship

SlimDoc is a specialized clinical weight-care platform supervised by Dr. Satender Singh (MBBS, MS General Surgery, NMC/DMC Reg. No. 115162), operating Pan-India via Telemedicine.

• Assessment Tool: The questionnaires on our website (including assessment.html and questionnaire-ayurvedic.html) are educational and case-preparation tools. Completing an assessment does not create a doctor–patient relationship and does not constitute a formal diagnosis, medical advice, or prescription.
• Consultation Required: A doctor–patient relationship is only established once you participate in a direct consultation with Dr. Satender Singh or a registered clinical team member.
• Telemedicine Compliance: All remote consultations comply with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (2020) issued by the Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission.

3. Clinical Eligibility & The Four Pathways

Treatment recommendations are individualized based on clinical judgment:

1. Ayurveda & Lifestyle: Dietary counseling, daily routines (dinacharya), and herbal metabolic support coordinated with qualified practitioners.
2. Medical Management (including GLP-1s): Prescription medications (e.g., GLP-1 receptor agonists) are prescribed only if medically indicated, clinically appropriate, and compliant with Indian drug control laws after thorough evaluation of health history and contraindications.
3. Fat-Reduction Procedures: Localized contouring procedures discussed realistically as body-shaping interventions, not cures for obesity.
4. Bariatric Surgery: Surgical options (e.g., sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass) evaluated rigorously for candidates meeting Asian-Indian surgical guidelines.

We do not guarantee specific weight-loss numbers or timelines. Outcomes depend on adherence, metabolic health, genetics, and individual biological factors.

4. Consultation Fees and Transparency

• Assessment: The online assessment is 100% free of charge.
• Doctor Consultation Fee: The telemedicine consultation fee with Dr. Satender Singh for online patients is stated as ₹499 (standard in-clinic fee: ₹1,000).
• Medicines and Diagnostics: SlimDoc is not a pharmacy and does not directly sell or dispense pharmaceutical products. Any recommended laboratory tests or prescription medications are billed separately by authorized diagnostic laboratories or licensed pharmacies of the patient's choice.

5. Patient Responsibilities & Honesty

You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete medical information regarding your age (must be 18 years or older for adult consultations), current medications, allergies, existing chronic illnesses (such as thyroid disorders, diabetes, pancreatitis, or kidney conditions), and pregnancy or breastfeeding status. Withholding medical history can lead to serious adverse health consequences.

6. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

All content on getslimdoc.com, including website text, design, brand logos, assessment questionnaires, and interactive widgets, is owned by SlimDoc. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, or distribute our materials without prior written authorization.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, SlimDoc and its clinicians shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from website downtime, user inaccuracy in reporting health information, or failure to follow prescribed medical instructions.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or related to our platform, consultations, or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Haryana, India.
